Free ski or snowboard lesson for Colorado 5th Grade Passport holders in January 2012

Don't forget that 5th Grade Passport and School of Shred holders receive a free first-timer ski or snowboard lesson in January 2012. Those without a 5th Grade Passport have until January 31, 2012 to apply. The School of Shred Pass application deadline has passed for the 2011-12 ski season.

The Colorado Ski Country USA 5th Grade Passport is valid for one free never-ever lesson and rental package at 21 member ski resorts. They include Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Durango Mountain, Echo Mountain, Eldora, Howelsen Hill, Loveland, Monarch, Powderhorn, Ski Cooper, Snowmass, SolVista Golf and Ski Ranch, Steamboat, Sunlight Mountain Resort, Telluride, Winter Park Resort, and Wolf Creek Ski Area. It is NOT VALID at Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, or Breckenridge.

The First Class Program is only valid for those who have never skied or snowboarded before. You'll need to call the Colorado Ski Country USA Customer Service Representative to request a voucher for the resort you plan to attend. Once a lesson voucher is issued it is not transferable and cannot be reissued.

Vail Resorts is also offering a free first time ski or snowboard lesson to 5th and 6 Graders who are School of Shred Pass holders. No voucher is needed - just the pass. The lesson is available at Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, and Breckenridge.
